Bharti Airtel has hiked its prepaid plans by 42 per cent. The new prepaid plans start at Rs 19 and go up to Rs 1,699 with a validity ranging between two days and a year. The new Rs 19 plan comes with a validity of two days and it offers unlimited calling with 150MB data and 100 SMSs to to the subscribers. The Rs 249 plan, on the other hand, comes with a validity of 28 days and offers unlimited calling , 100 SMSs per day with 2GB data per day. The Rs 1,699 plan now offers unlimited calling, 100 SMSs per day along with 1.5GB data per day and is vald for 365 days. All the new plans starting Rs 169 come with added benefits, which includes Airtel Xtreme Premium, Wynk Music Subscription, Free Hello Tunes and Anti-Virus Mobile Protection.
“Our new mobile plans offer tremendous valune to our customers and are backed by a superior network experience on Airtel’s nationwide 4G network. Airtel will continue to make large investements in emerging technologies and digital platforms to deliver world-class experiences to our customers,” Shashwat Sharma, CMO, Bharti Airtel said in a statement.
Vodafone
Just like Airtel, Vodafone also hiked its prepaid tariffs. The new prepaid tariffs that the telecom giant is offering range between Rs 19 and Rs 2,399. The Rs 19 plan comes with a validity of two days and it offers unlimited voice calling with 150MB of data and 100 SMSs. The Rs 49 pack, on the other hand, is valid for 28 days and it comes with a talk time of Rs 38 and 100M data. For mid-range pack, Vodafone’s Rs 379 pack comes with a validity of 84 days with unlimited voice calls along with 6GB data and 1,000 SMS free. The company’s highest plan, which is worth Rs 2,399, on the other hand, offers unlimited voice calling with 12000 FUP limit, 1.5 GB data per day, 100 SMSs per day with a validity of 365 days.Read More..
